An orthopedic surgeon from Gig Harbor, Washington, Ian B. Lawson, MD is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Ian B. Lawson is a season ticket holder of the Seattle Seahawks, a professional football team that competes in the National Football League (NFL).

The Seahawks were part of the expansion teams that joined the NFL in 1976. They won the National Football Conference (NFC) championship twice (in 2005 and 2013) and the Super Bowl once (in 2013). Some of the best players that donned the Seahawks’ jersey were honored to have their numbers retired by the team. Three of the Seahawks’ most recently retired numbers are as follows.

On October 1, 2017, the Seahawks retired No. 45, the jersey Kenny Easley wore when he played for the team for seven seasons. During his time with the Seahawks, Easley led the team’s defensive unit and was considered one of the league’s best defenders. Easley was a 5-time Pro Bowl, 4-time All-Pro first team, and one-time All-Pro second team. He earned the Defensive Player of the Year award in 1984 and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017.

Cortez Kennedy played his entire NFL career of 11 seasons with the Seahawks. He was the Seahawks’ third overall pick in the 1990 draft. A defensive tackle, Kennedy made the Pro Bowl selection eight times, the All-Pro selection five times, and was a member of the 1990s All-Decade Team. He was named into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012. The Seahawks retired his jersey No. October 14, 2012.

The sixth pick of the Seahawks in the 1997 draft, offensive tackle Walter Jones Jr. played his entire 13-year NFL career with the Seahawks. Jones is recognized as one of the league’s best offensive linemen of all time. His achievements as a professional football player include the All-Rookie first-team selection in 1997, nine Pro Bowl selections, seven All-Pro selections, Alumnus Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2005, and the 2000s All-Deacde Team. The Seahawks retired his jersey No. 71 on December 5, 2010.
